Melanie & Kevin's home mixes modern design with intriguing rustic touches; BE

Melanie and Kevin bought this former farmhouse in the middle of a quiet Belgian village in 2001. Dating from around 1890, the building had been extensively renovated by the previous owners, but there was still plenty to do. Luckily Kevin is a great craftsman which, together with Melanie's creativity, meant that the couple could do a lot by themselves.
